How will Mass Effect 4 play out?

Hello, how are you?

So, after finishing my play trough of the whole trilogy, I am anxious for the next installment of mass effect!

At this point, I am very curious about mass effect 4 and how will it play out...

In my play trough, shepherd died at the end and the Normandy crashed with survivors.

Since shepherd is dead in my story how do you think the next a me will play out?

Will it be a whole different story?

Because the way I see it, and after playing through the whole 3 games, mass effect is really a trilogy to me.

So, will 4 be a different story, same story with different character? Prequel, sequel?

Will my save game from the original trilogy have any importance?

What are your thoughts?

im excited too because I couldnt stand the retroness of mass effect one and I was told to not play the last 2 without playing the first one

Thats that. If you need to get in touch chances are you can find someone that knows me that can get in touch.

Only thing we know is Shepard's story is over.  That's the only confirmation for ME4.

Leaks have it taking place in the Helius cluster.  It seems to be somewhat of a Destiny-esque experience, except with resource management.

I'll read that properly later. Just skimmed through it and the last bit mentions the Mako <3 

Haven't played destiny. So i wouldn't know how it is :/

But i'll hold out until something solid comes out from the studio. Leaks and speculation doesn't interest me too much. Especially this early on

Very true it's so early in development that even if something is a true leak it could change before release.

I just hope that the ending won't be as terrible as in Mass Effect 3.

Same.

The only reason I like the Mass Effect Series and Knights of the Old republic is the ability to be a massive Dick to everyone.

In Mass Effect the Renegade is a Devil May Care Soldier , In KOTOR , you are more of a subtle scheming Sith.

Still waiting for KOTOR Remake / KOTOR 3 -_-.

It will be a different story , I'm thinking sequel.

As for the saves , I have no clue.

The original or the extended one? Imo the extended ending was satisfying.

I played the standard version I think.

On the end I only had two options, to destroy the reapers or to control them.

How is the extended edition different?

Also, when I was confronting the ilusive man, I couldn't be either paragon or renegade on the dialog, they were greeted out and I had to shoot him with renegade mouse click.

Also, is the Citadel DLC worth it? I am wanting to play it, but 13 euros for a DLC for Mass Effect 3 seems excessive...

Especially considering the whole trilogy costed me less...

Citadel dlc is the best part of the while trilogy, seriously, play it! :)

And in the extended not everyone dies, you had a few new scenes that made it better and 3 options, I'm on phone but I'll link them to you when I get home.

The ability to google properly is a skill of its own.

Citadel is ok, you get quite a bit of side stuff to do after you complete it but the main story is kinda meh. If its a decision of this dlc Vs the others definitely get Leviathan answers quite a few story questions.

 

 

Oh and i think if you go renegade Shepard lives but i doubt he'd be alive for the next installment.
