Toothpaste works but yes you need it.

But seriously you need it

Nvidia is to Dr Dre Beets as AMD is to KFC.

One makes you broke, the other you can get more of and have a midnight snack from the fridge when hungry again. Once you go Nvidia, you go broked, turn into an Elitist, or get the incorrect amount of VRAM.

Grab a CPU, slap in on a test bench, don't apply thermal paste, do a 12h stress test, call the fire department.

Yes you need it, Id recommend getting a Amasan T12 35 gram tube if you know you will need more in the future.

Between Amasan T12 and higher grade brands the difference is about 2-5% when it comes to the temperature.

It comes pre-applied on coolers such as Intel's stock ones and the Corsair AIO.

Others might come with a small tube of thermal paste.

Yes, it is something that you need.

So I don't need to buy one since its on the Intel cpu cooler. (I3-4160)
