what do you guys think of g.skill memory? in particular this:

 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231571&cm_re=G.SKILL_Ripjaws_X_Series_DDR3_2133-_-20-231-571-_-Product

at the moment I am looking at corsair vengeance of the same specs but it is 80 dollars more! Is there a difference in the brands or something or is one better? Anyway what do you think about g.skill an would this be good for a workstation/gaming build?

Thank you!

RAM is RAM. Don't pay more unless you really like the aesthetic. G.Skill are a good brand.

i love G.Skill ram... only brand i have used so far that seem to actualy get the write speeds they are rated for consistently... i have tryed corair and cruicial as my other memories and they all never seem to get their rated bandwidth in write speeds always about 10 less gb/s then what they should. heck even the stock ram in my laptop couldnt do that and it was hynix and put some gskill in it and bam  read and writes are equal.

yes i know it dont really matter that much but to me it shows the quality of chips they use and if the same memory controller cant do that with other similarly rated speeds then its not the controller and its the ram chips not performing on par with the specs they say....

so thats just my two cents if it helps any on ditermining what ram to buy and dunno if anyone else has seen similar results with different brands and consistency in read and write speeds.

G.Skill are one of the good looking and good functionality RAM out there ... There SNIPER series looks amazing in my opinion

... Life is a game and the checkpoints are your birthday , you will face challenges where you may not get rewarded afterwords but those are the challenges that help you improve yourself . Always live for tomorrow because you may never know when your game will be over ... I'm totally not going insane in anyway , shape or form ... I just have broken English and an open mind ...
