I bought GTA 5 PC for nothing...

so its official that rockstar is banning and not supporting mods and modders for the pc version of the game, i bought it for ps3 and finished it, i loved the game and had no reason to buy it for pc except the fact that i wanted to try the future mods that come out for the game. ive hear so much about how cool mods on IV were and now its all messed up. waiting almost two years for the release of the pc edition, i am very disappointed. If they introduce mods once steam rolls out a pay and mod system again, they will end up on my boycott list along with ubisoft.

Don't worry, it's rumours. Pretty sure the ones saying they get banned singleplayer tried cheating on MP and they are just lying or missunderstanding or whatever.

I don't know, I wouldn't put it past Rockstar to do it. They have shown clearly in their past that they don't give two shits about PC gamers (except for now.)

one is modded the other isin't 

turh off internet to play moded one

Just have 2 copies installed one directly from R* and the other from erm *cough* non-official sources.

Pretty sure that mods are allowed for the single player, just not the multiplayer.

They actually stated they don't support mods that's it but they said mods in singleplayer wouldn't ban you so I am pretty sure people are lying.

GTA IV's End User License Agreement reads exactly the same, but players were not banned for modding that. Arma III's End User License Agreement also states that you must not modify the software, but obviously, people have.

stop making me love the game at the time of hatred, i knew from month 2 of this game coming out about how much of a potential it has for this stuff, then directors mode really set the record and made my "a day in a life of tocsin, gta style" video look like childs play.

even without mods its a fucking epic game. i did not play it at all until i got it for pc

There's a "Play offline" option. You'd have to remove the mod each time you want online though.
