What's the worst wire management you've ever seen?

gurnben

Recently, while searching for a pc or some parts for a friend on Craigslist, I witnessed some of the worst wire management with wires almost in computer fans and hanging over MOBOs. What's the worst PC wire management you've ever seen?

Wish I took a picture of when I was swapping my friends biostar board with a FX 4100 and add another 8GB kit of ram... Big block of molex connectors for fans sitting right ontop of the gpu all the way to over the cpu fan... With the cpu power running straight over the gpu... And left over cables tied around eachother almost hitting his 660ti... Now he's rocking a i5 4690, 16GB of ram, and a EVGA ACX 970... That he won't let me overclock. :(

i got a DTX sized system in once, and the cables kinda fused with the cpu cooler and GPU trough the ungodly amounts of dust, and cable clutter.

Now that's some serious wiring right there! Did someone forget to tell them you can run wires behind the Motherboard Tray most of the time???

At what point did someone say... Wait.... Maybe we should try to organize these wires before we go any further...

Screw that. I feel bad for the person who has to manage/fix this. I would've given up and quit.

Found this at work.  The jackbox had been filled with concrete, along with the wall behind it.

Some of the boats I've had to finish for other teams at my work have been special experiences. I remember one we sent out that had a literal spaghetti ball of wire under the main console. Massive, death star proportion ball. And that is why you don't let designers do actual work.

*Edit: You're all in luck! I found pictures!
