Weird horizontal scrolling software

Go to solution Solved by ZetZet,

Just uninstall the mouse drivers? Or whatever you did so this happened.

Hi I have been living with this "feature" for a while now, but I want to remove it. basicly it is this threshhold that I can move, which when I position my mouse to its right side, my scroll wheel scrolls horizontally, not vertically. I can not move it further to the right or right click it to get some options for it so I have no idea how to remove it.

(Mouse cursor invisible due to screenshot program)

The thing in the bottom is what I can move. It is best visible on white backgrounds, like the editor. The thing on the right is locked to my mouse cursor whenever I'm on the right side of the bottom thing.

Anyone got any idea how I can remove this?

Here is my task manager if that helps:

Thanks, can't believe the drivers just do this on their own, feel kinda stupid now ^^

its simple to figure out, like this: mice dont need drivers, mouse drivers are either software to change what buttons do, or the color of lights, OR they are bloatware like this.

  • 2 months later...

Actually you can disable this feature within the installed drivers, right click on the taskbar icon and choose 4D Wheel, then simply select Normal Wheel instead. The feature is actually useful at times in Excel as previewed.

^ furthermore you can (if mouse supports) set an activation button to enable it when needed.
