Electrical tape on PSU cables?

Is it safe to put electrical tape on PSU wires? The wires are already sleeved, but the colored wires at the end that are exposed are annoying me.

Even if the cables were bare, it's perfectly safe!

Yes but bare in mind it will leave the sticky residue after a while (give or take 2-3 months,even less when in much higher ambient temp).

In a heated area (eg:topside of GPU which may be near connectors)

The tape may peel over time....so have an eye on it after a month or two and maybe touch it up.
