Why is violence more accepted than sexual content in medias?

I still don't know why people view violent content in better light than sexual content. It seems better to see people punching each other and blowing each other's head off with a shotgun than seeing boobs or vagina or donggles, heck, even kissing is censored here in Indonesia where we make The Raid available

Sexual content is viewed as more degrading to a person than..well..killing someone I assume.

well, its wierd as hell to watch a sex scene with your child. a fist fight? not so much. 

 

same thing with swearing, Violence was okay, but swearing and sex wasnt. I guess because its clear and obvious that violence is not allowed in the real world, while swearing and sex is legal(most cases) but parents dont want to encourage kids to do it, and its hard to tell them no to something thats legal, and even more so at a young age

How? I have several homosexual friends and they never been offended. they want people to accept them, so its a double standard to be offended by "normal" sexual content.

ah. well thats no different then the old man who hates homosexuals. 

 

See thats the issue really for me. Is theres FOR EXAMPLE. only using gay because its what I seen personally. same goes for politics. 

homosexuals hate anyone who disagrees with them, even though they have the view out of the norm. They expect people to respect their opinions, yet show no respect. This can apply to anyone. everyone does it, and its why we dont get anywhere

You act like everyone has a wild imagination or something. God damm is not bad, saying f'ing jesus christ is not either. And god damm is not offending at all to anyone unless they choose to be offended by it.
