Specific YouTube Channels taking ages to buffer at any resolution

Has anyone noticed this? I can watch NCIXcom or Total Biscuit's channel their respective full resolutions just fine, but something seems to be really hammering TechQuickie and JayzTwoCents at times. It's not even the fact that LMG videos are usually uploaded at 4K, I often have drops in these channels specifically so bad that I have to wait to buffer at 360p. I've had it default right back to 144p. I have a 36mbps connection, and even if that were a false reading due to prioritisation of speedtest.net from the ISP it would affect all streaming and all youtube channels equally.

Do you have hidefedora installed? I had this issue and that extension was the cause. 
It could also be adblock if you have it. I've noticed some bugs in the past with the "Whitelist specific youtube channels" option.
