Swapped out PSU but RAM held a charge?

Toxicable

So I just swapped over my PSU which took about 15 minutes but when i turned it back on it can back from sleep, indication that the RAM still had a charge in it. Is this normal orrr idk hey

Did it come back from sleep or hibernation?

From a sleep standpoint this seems impossible...

Sig under construction.

Exactly what I thought, I believe it was just normal sleep. I know there are different types of sleep so the default one I guess lol

Did it say something about starting windows and show the windows logo? If so, it was hibernate. If not, and you just saw desktop or login screen, then wtf.

My screen was actually off when I started so im not sure if there was a windows logo.

I turned it on, turned the screen on, logged on, but instead of waiting for things to load all my previous windows were there instead.

Im pretty sure hibernate isn't enable, can't check atm, but it was probably somehow in it anyway.

Your stuff being there would happen regardless of the mode it was in.

Check though, if hibernate is enabled. I am interested now.
