Well, your first mistake here is moving from AMD to AMD. Get an i5 unless you do productivity or streaming. (Don't hurt me, I run AMD too)

hello everyone. do i need to re install windows when I change my Motherboard and CPU my Motherboard is an MSI 970 gaming and my CPU is an FX 6300 AM3+, i wanted to change my motherboard to the Asus Crosshair V Formula-z AM3+, and my processor to the FX 9370 AM3+. If you could help me with this i would appreciate it so much thank you.

no but you will need to install all the new motherboard drivers and remove the old ones

also you will probably have to reactivate windows, but thats easy if you have the key you used when first installing it\

 

but you could just reinstall everything and you would clean up a lot of crap that builds up over time on the OS
