I use the regular one. You can either update your filters or click on the ad and select "block this" if you're having problems with regular adblock.

1. I recommend you not to use ad block as sites earn money from ads

2. if you decide to get ad block get Ad block plus s it don't block non intrusive ads (only allows things like text ads without flashing images)

3. remember to white list some websites that you don't mind the ads

4. ublock claims to be the fastest, but it sometimes prevents pages from loading so u have to disable it

I don't use AdBlock because it's like going to the mechanic and asking them to do a free repair. These channels are their livelihoods, and I'm not gonna take that away so I can save :30 of my life.

That's not supposed to do that....

I use sometimes ABP, just to get rid of intrusive ads on certain websites. Most of my web browsing is done without it. Please try to be wise with its use.

I was wondering, is there any difference between AdBlock and AdBlock Plus. They are both free, I assume. Does Plus have more options? If so, why would you use the regular one? (or why use in the first place ;))

New to Star Citizen? Look no further!

Ublock is a nice alternative (Adblock is pretty resource heavy nowadays)

As for people complaining about adblockers - it's up to the user if they want to block them or not. People should not be forced into putting up with them. Personally, i always use an adblocker - however i have LTT white-listed, because they are non-intrusive and it helps out Linus a little.

Shot through the heart and you're to blame, 30fps and i'll pirate your game - Bon Jovi

Take me down to the console city where the games are blurry and the frames are thirty - Guns N' Roses

Arguing with religious people is like explaining to your mother that online games can't be paused...

There are other ways to support content creators than watching Googles obnoxious ads. Merchandise, Patreon etc. Even a single donation will easily make up for what they would have ever earned on ads from you, it's more personal and you'll be less annoyed.

Well use Adblocker and use it to disable ads on other websites which are intrusive, like following the page or prevent you from clicking anything.

And yes help the content creators out by watching some ad's :P

NEVER GIVE UP. NEVER STOP LEARNING. DONT LET THE PAST HURT YOU. YOU CAN DOOOOO IT

The best adblocker is uBlock, hands down.  Install it in Firefox, Chrome, or Safari.  Whitelist any sites you wish to support.

While I agree, that version is riddled with donation buttons. uBlock Origin is the version maintained by the original creator, and he doesn't ask for any money. He was however, forced to change the logo, so hopefully he updates it with something less ugly soon.
