I'd go for Kingston since i dont even know what the first brand is or have ever seen it.

Intel 4790 K - R9 295X2 - Gigabyte Z97-SLI - Corsair Vengeance Pro Black 1866 CAL9 - Corsair HX 1000 -Samsung 850 EVO SSD - Samsung HDD - H100I - Corsair C70 - G400 Logitech - Asus VS247H - WASD custom mechanical and QCKPAD!

Staples of LTT: Getting an 4690 K will resurrect your lost family members, AMD = More heat thus AMD = Satan.

I would go for a Crucial BX100 drives, Those are their new value drives that still have good reliability. Or you can also go for their MX drives which are faster and still don't cost too much.

As already stated, go with an MX100 drive.

Also, I don't think you'll really see greatly improved speed unless you're video capturing if you RAID the lower capacity drives.

The only thing you'd really introduce is more points of failure.

Wow didn't even know GEIL made SSds. They mainly manufacture RAM; I use one of their EVO Potenza 8GB sticks in my system

The kingston SSD has really bad NAND

Yeah IDK why Kingston's SSD seem so slow, it's just the other compagny looks kinda shady.

Kingston is the shadiest of all companies (apart from OCZ back in the day).

In my opinion the best price to performance right now is the intel 530 ssd.  Even better if you can find it on sale.

Stay clear of sandforce garbage.

That unknown brand is NOT cheap. And not that great of a drive either going by the specs. I'd definitely go with Crucial instead.

Sir William of Orange: Corsair 230T - Rebel Orange, 4690K, GA-97X SOC, 16gb Dom Plats 1866C9,  2 MX100 256gb, Seagate 2tb Desktop, EVGA Supernova 750-G2, Be Quiet! Dark Rock 3, DK 9008 keyboard, Pioneer BR drive. Yeah, on board graphics - deal with it!

Why do you have a sandforce drive yourself if you hate it?

i learned my lesson. Besides, it was a steal back then...
