Chrome - Google search country issues

Hello all,

I recently moved to the Netherlands (just across the border), after living in Belgium my whole life.

I still study in Belgium, go shopping there,... I still consider myself Belgian.

However, it doesn't work to set up Google.be as my search engine in Chrome.

Everytime I look for something, it gives me Dutch sites, but I don't want that.

How can i change this? It doesn't work by 'adding a search engine'.

Thanks

you need to go to settings and change search engine and the language.

Like I said, it doesn't work.

I can add www.google.be as a search engine, but I can't make it the default one.

Chrome uses localization for searches. You can either deal with it, or log into account and set your location/localization in Google+ profile to right one.
