Never ever open crates. You are extremely, extremely likely to get just a cheap $0.05-$0.15 skin. I mean 4/5 times. It's just nuts. On those other times, you're likely just getting a $0.50-$1.00 skin. Only once in a blue moon do you ever actually open an item worth more than the $2.50 cost of the key.

 

If you have $5, you can buy a nice setup of items, so long as you focus on the most used:

 

AK

M4

Glock

USP/P2000

 

That'll easily get you some decent looking skins there, and maybe even some leftovers for Five-Seven/Tec-9/CZ-75.

 

Remember, good looking skins exist for almost every weapon in the sub 50-cent range.

Hi guys, I want to know your opinion.

I just made enough money for a key selling the stuff that I got in drops. I currently have a Phoenix Case, I don't have any skin (just a crappy M4A1 Boreal Forest).

What do you guys think I should do?

- Get the key and open that crate so maybe I get a Stattrak® 420YoloSwag Knife Fade or something worthy

- Save the money and use it for other stuff.

I'm not putting any of my money, if I get the key I would just use money I made from selling crappy cheap stuff I got from drops.

I wouldn't. Save it for a Steam sale.

Save the money, there is such a slim chance of getting a knife, it's stupid to try.

Just buy a skin you want off the market.

TBH don't give volvo money to rape you.

Just use the money on other stuff.

Or try trading up i went from 1.10$ to 2$

Nvidia is to Dr Dre Beets as AMD is to KFC.

One makes you broke, the other you can get more of and have a midnight snack from the fridge when hungry again. Once you go Nvidia, you go broked, turn into an Elitist, or get the incorrect amount of VRAM.

Never OPEN CRATES it like a drug if you start opening them, better off trading that key for some items or buy skins off market.

You are pretty much going to save money just buying the thing you want outright rather then using case keys.

Lol I used to have the app in my smartphone, I never got any knife or reds, but I kinda liked the normal blue skins.

You have a better chance of getting a nicer skin if your unranked anyway.....

@alby800 got a Man O War on his third time opening a case.

And if you have like 5 dollars to spend on skins anyway

Just buy a M4A1-S Basilisk FT, AK-47 Blue Lam FT, Glock-18 Candy Apple FN and USP-S Guardian FN
