Asus GTX 780 Direct CU II now available for purchase

Hello everyone if you are like me then you probably were checking each and every day when this card would be available for purchase..

Well today when I checked I finally saw it listed on Newegg, and yes I was super excited :D  ^_^

Ya that's true. EVGA factory OC's their cards higher.

Probably the latter, if the 9970 is priced right.

 

But it'll be a while...  The GTX 880 will probably be out by the time I can buy one of these.  :lol:

Not a very high factory OC... Almost every other non-reference card has at least 1000MHz boost clock.

 

Very glad it's not triple slot though. Those 7970s were horrendous. The different fans on each one is interesting as well.

yup i was waiting for this card. but still haven't sold my GTX 680. the asus dc2 780 will match my gene MOBO perfect.

I still prefer the stock looking cooler though, i dont really like those coolers that blow aaaall the hot air in the case, just imo!

I'll be watercooling a few months down the road so I don't really care about the look

 

and after having both the blower style and an open style cooler card, I prefer the open style, they cool the gpu better and have a very minimal affect on everything else.  and they're quieter.
