Is this laptop good for gaming?

Erfan1382

Not really, gaming a wide subject though. There is a big difference between playing battlefield hardline or pacman for example :P

But in general I don't think this will perform like you want to. If you want a decent gaming lap (and you use it at home) you'll be looking at 1000 dollar+ laptops.

The lenovo Y50 is the best performance laptop for a low price out there atm.

yeah no dedicated GPU so you are limited to very basic games like Counter Strike, Dota, minecraft etc

You need double or triple that budget to get a laptop with a decent dedicated GPU for high end games

Oh sorry I am clearly 100% blind

Check out the performance of the M260 here - what I said still stands, most games are unplayable at even at 720 low settings - lighter games are playable at low settings though - so check out what you want to play on the list

games.. laptop. Sorry to be cynical but if you want to play, hate the phrase, AAA games then go for a desktop. As pointed out minecraft and other games like that would be playable.

My Rig - Intel I7-5820k@ 4ghz| Rampage V Extreme| 4x4GB Corsair Vengeance DDR4|RTX 2060 SUPER| Corsair 650D| Corsair HX750| 2TB Samsung 850 EVO| H100i| 3x SF-120's| 1x 240 cooler master Red LED Front intake

Everything I say defaults to include /s

Modern gaming laptops can play AAA titles just fine the 960m, 970m and 980m are extremely capable mobile cards

Just not at OPs budget

You can prob get away with minecraft, csgo (all valve games basically) and other non demanding games. Laptops aren't the best for gaming.
