Best Game Recording Software for PC?

xUltimaAJ

What is the best Gameplay Capturing Software can you all recommend to record @1080p?

I have heard about software like Fraps, MSI Afterburner, D3DGear, etc. but don't have the time to test all these.

I appreciate all the responses :)

Shadowplay if you have a comptaible NVIDIA card, 0 performance impact. If not, Afterburner or Dxtory.

will they both be able to record the desktop for tutorials and stuff? or are they like in-game recording software?

There's an option to allow Desktop recording, which also makes it available for borderless window games.

OBS cannot use custom codecs for loss-less capturing but if you aren't editing the the videos it gets the job done using x264, best of all it's free

Dxtory if you plan on doing editing afterwards. If not, then shadowplay.
