Better-er $1000 Budget PC ?

I have made a topic before but didn't really get any 'answers' you could say. I have a new & improved build that I have made and wondering if I should do anything else, improve a part etc etc. I'm most interested in a better case for this build for under $100 AU and if it will work well. Thank you!

i like the corsair cases a lot. they are very modular. spend $50-$70 on a case and it will probably be good. if there are YouTube videos, you can see kind of what it will be like.

Also, the post above me has a 4690K for cheaper than the 4670K in my post. I would check on that because that is a great deal.

I was thinking the NZXT S340, but I can't find any decent places to buy it from. And yeah, I did some research. 4690K won't bottleneck the GTX 970

Yep, I have the 4690k and a 970. no bottlenecks at all. Might even SLI soon idk. the 4690k is a top teir CPU still.

Oh, and you can go cheaper for the PSU, but make sure you know it's a trustworthy PSU. I have had a PSU blow up on me, and it was not fun. I use the EVGA psu i recommended, but the 850 watt version. Corsair and Seagate make good PSUs too.

I think I'll take Timos build, except a Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM for the CPU cooler. How does that sound to you ?

it's a good build. the noctua cooler would be better, but the EVO will also be just fine. Honestly, if you are not overclocking, the only difference between the two are noise. the Evo is louder than the noctua, but is by no means a jet engine.

Does PCPartPicker automatically change the currency to your region? That's my last question I guess. Just time to get money for it

An option is to get this, save up for a 4690k and replace the G3258. 750w PSU's are really competitively priced in Oz at the moment, to the point where the G2 is similar to comparable Silverstone, Zalman and Cooler Master PSU's.

Drop the fx cpu and get an i3 4160/4130. U then wont need a hyper 212 and can put that money into a better graphics card like a 270(x)
