Favourite Soundtrack In Games?

AlexWJD

After getting back into my WW2 games, I've re encountered those awesome soundtracks.

My personal favourites:

War Thunder

RO2

Call Of Duty 1 and 2

Other genres:

FTL: Faster Than Light

Insurgency

Edit: Also supreme commander, all 3 games were kickass

Edit 2:

Halo: Combat Evolved Theme

Edit 3: Spare me Gaben, for I have forgot battlefield 1942

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vg0Tmydj29M

Edit 4: Supreme Commander, main theme is Bellum Infinitus (Latin for infinite war I believe)

Halo still stands out for me as having some of the best soundtracks in any game that I've played, personally the ODST soundtrack is my favorite.

Final Fantasy VI !!!

Nobuo Uematsu is a genius, this soundtrack really completes the gaming experience, and we are talking about 1994 SNES!!!

Old nintendo games had great music like Zelda!!! I'm a piano teacher so I prefer more "classical" compositions, with proper structure, themes, variations, etc... nowadays games use "top 40"-like music so I end up muting their music.

Here some orchestrated songs: (the opera is my favourite!)

Wasn't Twisted Metal just ICP? (Insane Clown Posse)

Also, I would have to go with Zelda: Ocarina of Time & Halo (original).

No, not that I know of. I've never listened to ICP, but the track I linked you sounds very similar to Hot For Teacher, not ICP.

I don't think ICP had anything to do with this either:

I don't play much video games with a storyline, so my experience is rather limited.

However, I did enjoy the Arma 3 soundtrack, since it came with the deluxe version of the game (which I bought because I love Bohemia Interactive)

This is one of my favourites. Not everyone will like it but I liked it somewhat:

Other than that the Insurgency soundtrack is ok as well
