Forbes: 2x GTX 760s vs. GTX Titan

Is there even a stuttering issue with NVIDIA and SLI or is it just currently AMD? IF no for NVIDIA then its a sure winner on a budget.

Yes, there is more stuttering with Nvidia SLI than single card. But less than crossfire.

GTX 780 by a mile.

He is the hero this forum deserves but not the one it needs right now.So we'll hunt him because he can take it because he is not our hero he is a silent guardian

Well if you get the Titan you have room to upgrade later, because 3 or 4 way anything isn't a good idea. but Id recommend a 7990 over the Titan. or two 7950's.

Well, Linus always says to get the better card, but what if your budget doesn't allow it? A GTX 760 is 250€, and if you plan to get a used card later, for like 150€-175€, you can potentially have a PC with Titan power for as low as 400€. That is a pretty good deal if you ask me. If you go for the better single card, the only option would probably be the GTX 770, but that one costs like 400€ which I don't think it's worth it.

I truly don't notice this at all.... I think the only way to see it is with a program designed to look at those things

PS4 has the same bus and uses 4-6GB.

Isn't it gddr3?

It actually has 8GB RAM which is shared with the GPU (since it is a system-on-a-chip) so it might be that the system has 6GB and the GPU has 2GB to use, or the other way around, I haven't seen any official claim to sustain that PS4's GPU has this much available memory to use out of that 8GB pool.

I know it is 8GB. I also know it has at least 3GB available for games (Killzone Shadow Fall uses 3GB), but the max is expected to be about 4-6GB. They never said the system uses 6GB, but they actually revealed that Killzone uses 3GB, and it doesn't use more because the Dev Kits at the time of development had a 4GB cap or something. Initially Sony was thinking of releasing the PS4 with 3GB available for the GPU, but they changed their minds later on.

I think it depend on different people. On benchmark number only, SLI has higher frametime than single card and Crossfire has higher frametime than SLI. Just how high the frametime that we can actually notice the stutter is subjective.

Hopefully amd can release their fix in the new drivers and become on par with nvidias sli......atm i agree that amd has a lesser two card performance......im not quite sure how much this frame latency thing affects gameplay but im still not buying another 7950 till its fixed to a point that everyone stops complaining.....a lot of people said i shouldve got the 760....but im glad i got the 7950.....its a beast of a card and overclocks like a champ. All in all it comes down to budget....if you have the money to blow on a titan then do it...if not sli two 760s....its as simple as that....either one will give you amazing performance. If you plan on playing on three monitors then i would stretch for a higher vram card.....if your sticking with 1080p then two 760 is borderline overkill =P
