I get to purchase a 50% share, and rent the other 50% which I can buy later, and I can afford it on disability benefits, and also get the rent paid off from 9 months after moving in. 

 

But I was on the council waiting list for maybe 6 years now.

 

My hardback massive Tom of Finland art book is going to be my lounge's centre piece.

Had a mostly alright birthday, although unfortunately my great grandma's condition worsened today. It's quite a surprise she made it through the day it sounds like. She's 86 though. 

 

Aside from that re-hashing my status update, I bought some lottery tickets. $3 worth, won $11. My uncle bought me like $9 worth and only $2 was the winnings from 1 ticket. Used that $2 to buy the same kind of ticket I won $10 on but that was not a winner. I plan on getting some pull tabs on Friday when I go to a restaurant that sells them and then maybe to a bingo hall over next weekend. I had wanted to go to a casino but I'll settle with what I've done so far for gambling and wanted to do. 

 

Maybe I can take a few bucks to the casino around income tax time lol

If I still had an income, I would apply for a basic credit card to build some credit. Although I will turn my one checking account into a savings account and then eventually get my mom off my primary account.

On YouTube there's a video where someone got loads of mc Donalds stuff, prepared it onto fancy gourmet plates, and took it to a fancy French home cooked tasting contest.

 

He told all the posh taste test judges that it was 100% organic and made by his small family business, and they loved it. He even asked 'So how do you think my food compares to Mc Donalds?', and right away they begin major dissing Mc Donalds whilst unknowingly eating and loving their food.

Reminds me of the super cringey commercials of "not paid actors" who sit in unmarked cars. They believe them to be high class luxury vehicles from their looks and comfort. But the cars turn out to be mainstream sedans.

Canadian geography is interesting especially along the border with the US. So if your house is in the border, does it mean people living in that house have dual citizenships? @8uhbbhu8

Nope. It just means that you can technically cross the border legally any time you want. If you step off your land however you are subject to the laws of that country and need your passport. Dual citizenship only auto happens if the countries your from and in when born allow it. If your parents are from one country and they have you in another then you get citizenship to both is how it usually works.

There's also the International Peace Gardens on the Manitoba/North Dakota border. It's considered International territory between US and Canada.

So I'm guessing along the provinces of Quebec and Ontario the US-Canada border is not straight. Given the proximity of Nunavut to Greenland, I wonder why Denmark hasn't given up Greenland to Canada just yet. ?

 

That map reminds me of the story Linus once told in the WAN show where TQ writer Jon Martin drove his car from North Carolina to the border in BC and a snap decision will be made if the CIC will allow Jon in or not.

Ah I see. So most Canadians are living near the border because the upper portions don't have roads or very rugged. I think some people in Greenland speak the same native Inuit as the inhabitants in Nunavut. I could be wrong.
