Laptop screen flickering

hey i just replaced my laptop battery and ever since when my computer goes under 30% battery the screen starts to flicker uncontrollably. the only way to make this stop is to plug it in. i have tried multiple things but nothing has worked. i need to get this fixed since i use my laptop for school

Did you buy original battery?
What happens when you put your old battery back inside?
Can you verify you plugged everything properly (all cables if you had to remove any of them when replacing battery, especially display cable)?

Specifically at 30%? I'm wondering if there a power mode that's putting your display into a variable refresh rate setting. Try playing there.

its a 3rd party battery and i think i got ride of the other one already but i will check 

i will make sure all the cables are good too
