Cheaper ones tend to burn out and kill the rest of your system. It's rare, but it happens.

yes they do tend to have a bit of an issue with buring out systems not to mention it can shorten the life of your parts the psu is probobly in my opinion the most important part of the system.

CX750M is decent, it performs and is built better then the other CX models, however I'd still spend the extra bit more and get the EVGA 750 B2.

Hands down one of the best PSUs out there (and for the price too!)

Fully modular

80+ gold

has ECO mode aka fan doesnt spin up till a certain amount of load!

AND 10 YEARS OF FLIPPING WARRANTY

TL;DR = Slient, 80+ gold, fully modular, best bang for the buck, 10 years of warranty

Thumbs up for the EVGA as it is a really good PSU and they come with a really good warranty for them 10 years and the cabling is very nice to work with..I have the EVGA SuperNOVA 1000 P2 in my newest build and would highly recommend EVGA PSU..

but unless you NEED those three things specifically, 60 bucks, still a great performing unit:

Again, it's not that worth it unless you NEED those features and 10 year warranty. Think about it, 10 years ago LGA775 just came out and the best CPU you could get was a Pentium 4 EE. Who's still using those nowadays?

Cooler Master V750. Gold certified, semi-modular, and one of the most quality made 750w PSUs.

The semi-modular V750 which is made by Enhance is decent but it is in no way one of the best made 750Ws.

But we are talking about PSUs. Not CPUs...

I dont think PSUs will be replaced as easily as CPUs and GPUs

What I'm saying is that technology progressed very quickly in the past ten years, in the next ten years you'll want an entirely new PC before you'll want to upgrade your PSU. The B2's 5 years is plenty
