i5-3570k to 4.9Ghz!

Running a custom loop, i5-3570K overclocked to 4.9Ghz on the ASRock z77 pro4 board. Prime 95 tested with max temp of 89c!

Other than that just a 970 with 8gb of corsair ram clocked to 1600Mhz

Pretty happy with the overclocking on this system!

What is your vcore under load? My 3570k takes about 1.39v to get to 4.9. 4.8 is my voltage wall because I can hit 4.8 at 1.30v. Using a swiftech h320 my temps are way under 89 at 1.3v (believe they were 79c) but I'm sure it is way louder also.

Well, to be honest, it's only really the FX series and stock cooled R9 cards that get hot :P

And Ivy is almost as good as Sandy for clocking them.

Ivy. Bridge. Is. Almost. As. Good. As. Sandy. Bridge. For. Over. Clocking.

That seriously shouldn't have been necessary, but why should I expect any different..

In his defence without the "over" part, it wasn't easy to understand. Dont be mean.
