Its probably a binary joke. Maybe because the only two numbers in binary are 1 and 0 and that would make 2 (I have no clue what I'm talking about, as I don't know much binary and this is just a guess)

The joke is that the binary representation of "2" is expressed as 10.

00 = 0

01 = 1

10 = 2

11 = 3

100 = 4

101 = 5

110 = 6

111 = 7

Get it?

We were all binary novices once :P

I suggest you take some time out to

; it's very simple to understand how the Base2 number system works as opposed to Base10. Edited by Dim

You can also think of on and off with the joke. 1 being on(people who understand it) and 0 being off(people that don't understand it).

I had a good laugh at the first couple answers. Don't worry it was the same for me, I knew that binary had 1s and 0s so I assumed it was 2 and I got it right after googling it  :D

Some cultures actually teach their children to count using dozenal. the segments of fingers are very useful in this.

Grammar and spelling is not indicative of intelligence/knowledge.  Not having the same opinion does not always mean lack of understanding.
