fraps issues with team fortress 2

I have a computer that is more than capable of playing and recording tf2 no problem, it used to record smoothly no glitches or anything but now wherever i try to record the recording gets all glitched up and study? I am using fraps to record. its only done this since i formatted and re installed windows. Can you guys help me out with this.

dont use fraps,how about OBS or active or nvidia shadowplay

well it worked fine and now its studuring so im trying to figure it out, my pc more than powerfull enough to run it.

ive had issues with obs, with the final product being pizilated as hell

Depending on which GPU you use I would suggest moving over to hardware accelerated H.264 encoding.
