Hello is was wondering is there a bottle necke here specs:  intel pentium g3220 3.0 ghz;r9 280x;PSU 500W here it's 156 fps but in game it's like 70 and it drops to 30 attachicon.gifUntitled.png

Uhhh, yeah!

Battlefield (3 and 4) really like cores/threads. You're playing with a dual core CPU with no hyperthreading.

Yes. it bottlenecks.

Yup need to upgrade that Pentium bro

Try get an I5 4690k its just great, 10/10 would smash

Been playing on a laptop for 6 years, I play Dota 2 with 10fps. Some might say this is impossible, I say its just annoying

By the looking of it, I think yes. The GPU can't go to its full potential.

Its over 100 fps because you're not during gameplay. Its a definite bottleneck. The maximum gpu for a locked pentium would be around a 260x-270. So yes there is a definite bottlenecck. Getting an i5 will help you a lot.

yes,but saving up for a 4960k will get you much more performance per dollar

Its 4690k.

why on earth isnt that pentium overclocked to like 4.5 GHZ? you can get much more performance for free

He has a G3220, not a G3258...
