I'm looking at the r.a.t. 9 as a mouse I may want to pick up.

I mostly play counter strike and a myriad of other games. My main questions are related to the build quality, modularity, sensor quality, acceleration, and speed.

Any of you have input on these subjects?

My friend has one of these.

My opinion on it:

Sensor is good (used it on a full white desk, no mousepad), accurate.

The DPI (changing) is pretty good.

The buttons are annoying IMO.

Overall the mouse feels like it is made of cheap, fragile and annoying feeling plastic which kills the mouse for me.

I would say go to a shop and feel it to judge yourself, but in my opinion I wouldn't get the mouse for that reason.

And I think it's too lightweight.

I've used one, my grandpa has one, but I haven't used it extensively, it felt pretty heavy to me.

Well, as I said. It was my opinion on it.
