PC sound making me crazy

Hello,

Well I recently install a new heat sink into my pc, however I now hear a little sound like a vibration of something and it´s driving me crazy because it would not stop, I double check the new heat sink but I cant determined what is really causing this sound, Is there a way to turn off fans from my pc just temporary? I just want to turn off some fans so I could determined in a easy way what is causing this. Thanks!

1. Unplug a fan.

2. Start PC.

3. If it's still making noise:

3.1 Shutdown

3.2 Plug the fan back in

3.3 Unplug another fan.

Repeat until you've found the problematic fan.

 

That's how I hunted down my noisy fans. I also booted into BIOS instead of windows and I set my fans to a faster speed (I usually run sysfans on silent).

Pretty much this or use some sort of fan control software like SpeedFan.

Thank you, I find out that it was my front fan.
