747 flightdeck simulator build

GodAtum

@OP

You got legit rudder pedals, yoke and throttle quadrants from a modding company or did you mod those yourself from Saitek stuff?

The rudder pedals are from flightdecksolutions, amazing well built! Everything is amazing quality. I will probably get linked motorized yokes from simujabs.

I didn't see a black box. Do you have emergency plan ready in case of a crash.  :P

No, but I can tell you that the in flight meal will probably be instant noodles  :P

motorized yoke?

like they have force feedback?

will be cool to see the final product

the airbus 380 flightdeck is nice to build if you got the budget to make modifications

Budget? Uses? Currency? Location? Operating System? Peripherals? Monitor? Use PCPartPicker wherever possible.

All this jelly I have.

As for the autopilot system? I haven seen a company that makes a 747 MCP. I've only seen one for the 737.

A pretty nice setup so far. This is one of those things I could never do cause I'm constantly moving, but I would love to have that.

That is sick!

Hopefully you'll get the other panels working as well. Also, why X-Plane? FSX too unstable? I'd go over to X-Plane but PMDG doesn't develop for X-Plane yet. They've only ported their 777 to Prepar3d but not X-Plane.

You with any Virtual Airline by any chance?

Nice! Saw that company name floating around in my VA's forums. Seems pretty solid from what they say.

Are you planning to upgrade to the 747-8i and -8F? I believe the layout's going to be similar to the 777.

It's not really a PC but I'd thought I'd share some photos here. I am currently building a full size flight deck simulator.
