Next GPU

I'm looking to pick up a new to me GPU in the next little while as an upgrade to the system in my signature, what GPU should I go for for around and under $200 USD?

 

I'd love an Nvidia card but if I can get better performance from the red team I'll stay with AMD

 

Only things I absolutely need are DVI, HDMI, and a full size Display Port connector

got mine for $160 USD

and at one point in time the 290x was $230 new

I'd say wait until new AMD cards?

At that price range, you'll have to go red team. Probably a 280 or maybe even a 280x if you can find one around that price range. The only green team card in that range is the 960.

As above have said. R9 280. If you can stretch your budget a little bit, I've seen a Vapor-X R9 280X for $230 before. Maybe even an R9 290.

R9 290 if you can find one around this price that has NOT a reference design cooler...otherwise a R9 280X...R9 280...the best AMD you can afford basicaly unless you can afford a GTX 970.
