GPU language barrier, what do these acronyms mean?

Go to solution Solved by Guest,

Its type of cooler that evga uses on some of their cards.

Every manufacturer uses their cooler with some name.

So I am in the market for a new graphics card and looking on Amazon there are so many different versions of the same card and I don't understand what the pros and cons are other than the price difference. a lot of the specifications are almost identical except for the kingpin addition which seems to have some of the highest numbers.

My question is what does ACX 2.0 mean? and can someone please give me a brief summary of the pros and cons, or maybe which card would recommend the most out of all of them. Keep in mind that I do not have the intention to use water cooling so recommend based on that information.

My computer specifications: Operating System: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit
System Manufacturer: Alienware
       System Model: Aurora-R3
Processor: Intel® Core i7-2600K CPU @ 3.40GHz (8 CPUs), ~3.4GHz
Memory: 16 GB RAM (1333mghz)

Graphics card: 2GB Nvidia GeForce GTX 680

ACX is just the cooler, the 2.0 is the second generation of that cooler.
