err how? what i wanted to do is to switch where the audio will play, like at night i switch to headphone, while in the day i want to use the speaker, i hate unplugging each time and it could cause the port to get loose

I planned to do it, though never found the time or money while still remembering of wanting to do it.

Well, not quite this, but a very similar project, the one linked is for two inputs one output, I'd want the reverse.

Electricity flow either way though, so it can be used as both, 1 input => 2 outputs, or 2 inputs => 1 output.

Perhaps you mean like a splitter?

Pretty much, except with the switch there so I can control what is getting audio fed to it. (That way I can have speakers plugged into one output, headphones in the other, and have my computer hooked up to the input and easily switch between the two.

That's practically what that project is about :)

That's technically called an A/B selector, and can work either way.

and i found a slightly better solution almost like @Enderman said

since my MSI using realtek hd audio, i went to

device advanced setting > playback devices > make front and rear output devices playback two different audio streams simultaneously

then right click speakers > playback devices

the speaker and headphone shown up as speakers, so i only have to set either as default to change them

regardless @TheKDub solution is cool and easier just by toggling the switch, i actually might want to look into it too
