There were a few things that really disappointed me about this Moto X. The design was nice, but the leather backing had a tendency to peel off.

The battery was abysmal. I have a friend with one and it dies much too quickly. They should have put a 3000mah+ unit in to be on the same level as other flagships.

Also, the fact that it looked like it had stereo speakers, but didn't was a huge turn off for me. Especially since the Moto G got them. WTF?

There's a lot to improve on, but it could have been an amazing device.

 

150 min? Really? Didn't know companies still made plans that sad.

it is the cheapest play on telus, otherwise its prepaid, like i am on now, everything is so dam expensive

 

the leather thing i dont care about as i would have went with the bamboo, i use a very low brightness and only need it to last 7 hrs while im at school, and i would not be using lte. The speakers, i use earbuds most of the time.

 

For $50 of my expense and my family paying the rest, thats good, and maybe i will wait for the 2015 and see if they improve on said things, if they do it will be amazing.

I'm pretty sure you can use Wind can't you? Their plans are pretty good.

Also, Koodo is available where you are. $15/month for unlimited text. Add $30 for a 1gb of data, $25 for 500 minutes of talk time both of which carry over month to month until you've used them.

Either one of those plans will save you a ton of money.

kodo is a thing, and i actully may look at that, from what i remember though is their device options were terrible here, and saskatchewan is weird from everything else.

 

I WOULD LOVE WIND, but they dont have much coverage outside of the city's, and for a guy who is always on the road and at the lake, i cant have that, plus they are not in Saskatchewan at all.

Koodo has a lot of awesome phones. All the current ones, the Nexus 5, etc etc. If you factor in the fact that you'll likely only be paying $15/month plus whatever data, it's quite cheap.

well that is their roaming network, unless they added it within the last 4 monts or so

I hope they solved the heating issues that the G3 had. My G3 with lollipop 5.0 is running a bit hot after sometime of use, although not really of a problem for me as I have a thick phone case on it. Other than that, design looks almost the same as the G3

Eh, still too big for me. 4.7 inches is my sweet spot. Anything bigger, and the phone becomes cumbersome for one handed use for my hands.

really wish if LG was going to continue putting 2560x1440 screens they would at least create an oled version. i find it funny that the company that is mass producing the only oled tvs for relatively cheap doesnt have an oled screen for their flagship smartphone but the company that has next to no oled tvs in the market (samsung) has the best oled screens for their flagship smartphones.
