nobody can hear me in-game

hi everyone, for some reason nobody can hear me in-game when using my astro a-40's, i fixed it when i first realised this was happening after buying the headset but i can't remember how i did it, i got a new desk so unplugged everything and now novody can hear me in-game again, skype and ts are fine, its only in-game, any help is appreciated

Check the setting in Windows, Steam and the games themselves.

Make sure push-to-talk is off :3

thanks, just wasnt sure if i might have plugged my mic into the wrong place or my mixamp wasnt or something
