Can you recommend me a VPN that encrypts?

Here is a list of VPN providers that take encryption and privacy very seriously

Hi,

So I'm planning.... something ( ;) ) and I'm wondering that if I use a VPN, my ISP can still track me. Thanks.

P.S. before anyone says "ermhagerd isn't that illegal", I'm pretty sure I'm well within my rights as a human being to have as much privacy as I so desire.

They can't (all they see is your connect to the vpn server) and it's not illegal to use a VPN (except maybe in China).

If they want to do it,they can.You go through your ISP's servers to connect to the VPN then the VPN does the rest.They can find you if they want to.

All they'll see is you connecting to the same device repetitively. If your VPN software encrypts your actions, then no, they can't track you beyond that.

VPN keeps logs.If he does something really stupid.They can trace him back.

They shouldn't be able to, that is partially what VPN's are about.

Oh and:

No they don't, any decent VPN provider that cares about privacy is based in a country other than the US so they are not required by law to keep logs.

Obligatory privateinternetaccess.

Personally, I have two of my own. One in the Netherlands and one in Seattle using OpenVPN.

I do not believe they can see anything you are doing, but they do know that you are connecting to the VPN. Doubt they would, but they could get butthurt.

Current PC build:

=== CPU: Intel Pentium G3258 (Anniversary Edition)  === Motherboard: Asus H81m-PLUS  === RAM: 8gb DDR3 === GPU: GTX 460 (Considering the RX 480) === Case: Corsair SPEC-01 === Storage: 2x 160gb 7200rpm HDD and 1x 500gb 7200rpm HDD === PSU: EVGA 500w === Cooling: Intel Stock Cooling ===
