Finally got fiber

So for the past 18 months I have been writing 2 emails a week to Bell Canada asking about fiber. I got a response today and was told that they have moved my area up for when we are to get fiber. They say they will be here in 2 weeks to start. Was supposed to be in 3 years! Sadly I am told I should stop emailing them. Not sure if it was my emails that got them to hurry or what it was. 

 

Their company policy mandates all current customers questions regarding service be responded to in an appropriate manner which is why I could keep emailing them and it not be harassment.

Lucky you. Fibre Fiber is officially available for me, yet my cabinet hasn't been upgraded and it wouldn't benefit me anyway, because of how far away I am from said cabinet.

A company has installed fiber in my apartment.. But it's been around 3 months.. Still isn't activated.. I just need a letter with some info on it.. So close to 500mb/s.. And yet so far away..

Thank god we upgraded to 65 down, 15 up.

Edit: We pay for 17Mb/s Down and 5Mb/s Up I think, ~£40 a month.

Because I am getting what I wanted which is fiber to my house. Not just the area.

Michigan is not getting fiber for a long time and being in my parents house and I with no job, is stuck with 15d 2u. I'm fine with my down speed but I wish my up was a little faster.
