The stresstest of the intel xtu wont put 100 % load on my CPU is this normal

if i were you i would just try another burn in test then like prime95 or something else. Ive never heard of anyone really using intel xtu anyways, maybe its just not really good

NOT PRIME 95, NO NO NO NO NO. Use AIDA 64. Prime95 + Haswell/Haswell Refresh = no no no no

Have you checked that you are using "high performance" mode and not "balanced or "power saver"?

where can i find those options

What's so bad about Prime 95 running on Haswell based CPUs?

It doesn't deal with it very well. Prime95 uses AVX2 and FMA3 instructions, which cranks up the voltage, and results in high, unrealistic temperatures. They sometimes get too high for comfort.

Well that's ok then. Since my overclocking rig died I've got a liquid cooler to spare.

I'm confused..

Heat will never be an issue in other words as I can always install the liquid cooler.

Will it fluctuate in the high 90's? If so that's normal.

Anyway, it's normal for it to fluctuate in the 90's. It's just the way it does it.

I disagree. Using Intel XTU, My CPU remains at 100% load.

Right sorry i should have clarified! If you set the voltage in bios to fixed there is no problem though.
