This is my actual build im building

So I have most of the parts I'm getting my 970 on my bd along with the water block and stuff and my monitors and ssd at xmas this build has been along time in the making what do u guys think btw it probably won't be the strix since I'm in love with the reference cooler. I still need ram aswell but I'm sure my ballistix ram will do fine until then

I've already got my I5 now of course I would swap it in a heart beat for an I7 though

If you couldn't've afforded the i7 you could've gone for a Xeon, unless of course you prefer to OC, then that wouldn't be a good option.

Shame , 970 for triple monitor wont be any fun at all.

People have mentioned about that in other threads, but I personally believe it'd be fine. Now, if you were talking 3x 1440p monitors I might agree with you. :)

Ah I have seen someone complaining about three 1080p monitors and a 970 today Q_Q

 

Thats why I mention it.

On LTT.

 

The 290x 8 GB is much more well suited for that type of resolution.

I don't have the gpu yet also I don't have the monitors so I could afford a 4k instead

Ah okay, good, because those 3 BenQ monitors are VA monitors and might not be that great for gaming, but I would recommend 3x IPS monitors before recommending TN ones, for obvious reasons. :)
