I had 2x HIS R9 280x Turbo Boost (on stock) and an I5-4670k (on stock) on a Seasonic M12II EVO 750w.

Honestly, it really depends on your PSU, if it's a high quality PSU it might be able to power your system on STOCK clocks or on low OC settings.

But if its a low quality 700w PSU, don't even attempt it.

I love free stuff.

GTX 970 with pseudo 4gb vram at pseudo 224gb/s at pseudo  256-bit with 56 ROPs (corrected from 64) and 1.75mb L2 cache (corrected from 2mb).

i'd say a good quality 850w would be good. it's not nice to stress you psu.

they're not even that expensive anymore. you can usually find a good 850w in the sub $100 range.

will 700W be enough for 2 R9 280X and AMD FX 8310

Depends on the quality of the CPU, but I am able to run my 280x CF on my 700W Gold PSU

I would recommend atleast 800W for that configuration.

I ran 2x 270x and an 8350 on 750W, but swapping from 270x';s to 280x's is like an extra 200W.

i had a similar setup to that with 2 R9 280xs and it stuttered on the 8350 in games like BF4 and it was all fixed with the i7 4790k then i sold the 2 280xs for a 970 for noise reasons

l Intel Core i7 4790K @ 4.5Ghz l Asus VII Ranger ROG l MSI GTX 970 @ 1555MHz l
