loved the beta, then i went out and bought the game at release (big mistake) and proceeded to not like ing it at all, and haven't played it since...

I'm forced to go back to BF3 because some of my friends don't want to spend the money for BF4 if they already got BF3.

 

Many also say that BF3 is better, which it is in certain points. However i prefer BF4 by a long shot because the HUD is just so much better and the gamepleay is less jerky.

Nope, if I had it installed I might be asking "Why? Why am I not playing BF4?!??!?". I have both and the only difference I can tell is the amount of time it takes to load the maps.

Not much recently but I do have it. I played it quite a bit back in 2012 but I was still pretty disappointed by some design decisions they made (I was coming from 1942 so yeah...)

I need to play the game.  I have the base game plus maybe one or two expansions.  I have been trying to play BF4 Game Time but that hasn't worked out due to BS with EA.  I also have been getting back into shooters lately playing Titanfall Game Time Origin and now COD Advanced Warfare Steam free weekend.  I also played Battlefield Hardline during the beta.  Eh if there are any people that haven't played much BF3 and know of some good newb servers I would play this next week or maybe this weekend.  Thing is I may have my son over so that may change things.

I only have about 105 hours in BF3. They have cleaned up BF4, I am hoping EA patches BF3 again,  I do like the maps on BF3. I don't abandon games or legacy games. I enjoy variety.
