Can any one help me with my ram problem?

these are to puush link to my pc specks and the problem :

My motherboard is a MIS gaming 970 

me and my fiends compared benchmarks on novabeanch because they was saying there CPU was better than my but that's a story for another day, anyway i found out my ram speed was about half of there's. As you can see it is 7057 MB/s but both of my frends are about 12771MB/s my ram is 

Vengeance® — 8GB Dual Channel DDR3 Memory Kit

and its running at 1600mhz

Any help would be great

have you got it in the correct slots? it should say in the motherboard manual which 2 slots to use first.

Use CPU-Z, look at the memory tab, and post a screenshot of it.

Thank's to everyone for the help, i did what Jumper118  said to do and i am use to the duel ram slots being 1 and 3 but for this board when i looked in the Manuel it is 2 and 4 so the problem is solved now. A big thanks to everyone for being to helpful

msi boards have the ram slots the other way up to everone else my z77 mpower did the same thing when i got it
