I'm playing Competitive CS:GO right now, I won my first 9 placement matches easily. Now that I am on my 10th however, I keep getting matched up with horrible teams with slightly less horrible opposing sides. As much as I wish I could clutch every round I can't we're losing 6-2 T Side Dust 2 and watching this makes my eyes bleed. I need a better team ;( and they all keep shooting each other.

They are idiots. I played CS:GO competitively for a very short while. It was terrible (Probably because I'm not THAT good at the game)

That's how matchmaking works in any competitive team game. Sometimes you win, sometimes you loose. That's why I prefer individual games. If you win or loose at starcraft 2 or quake (rip quake live unfortunately) it's 100% your responsibility.

how can anyone ever be silver 1 :D

I try to be silver 2 but I can't play competitive takes about 5 -10 minutes to start a match, if I play will in a match I receive a 21 hours cool down.

haha, I'm still in silver II after 35 wins, consistently top 2 on the team and getting winning streaks.

Someone told Luke and Linus at CES 2017 to "Unban the legend known as Jerakl" and that's about all I've got going for me. (It didn't work)

CS: GOs matchmaking was bad enough before people making Smurf accounts make it 30x worse.

UPDATE: We actually tied the game I was talking about in the OP I went 46-16 :o despite tieing and still only having 9 matches won I gotr Silver Elite which is kinda lame. When i first did placements I got GN2 now I won even more and did even better but ranked lower ;(

You just need to be on a winning streak playing against slightly higher leveled opponents.

Of course, the easiest way to rank up would be have someone much higher ranked than you to carry but what's the fun in that?

Plus once you get to LEM/Supreme/Global, you'll see so many hackers, it ruins all the fun anyways.

It's almost neccesary to play with a team who know call outs and have their own strengths all while having a similar skill level to you.

My main account is MG1 which is okay to play in, this secondary one is Silver Elite now.

Lets say I play competitive and I play a nice match, for playing that nice match I will receive a 21 hours cool down, it takes a lot of time for a match to start.

why would you receiver a 21hours cooldown for playing a nice match?

why does it take a lot of time for a match to start? Is your PC to slow to load the map?

I don't know, nope CS:GO run fine for me it's just matchmaking takes too much time.

i.e. from pressing "ACCEPT" to you actually being in the game?

Or do you leaven MM games early?!

Also why would it be 21 hours?
