Wow that is a big price difference get the G1.

 

Didn't realize they were different cards. The 970 is going to be fine unless you are gaming at 4k then get the 980.

Look into a 290(x) too, great card :)

sadly i have planed to get the 970 but saw the 980 being so cheap compared to other stores here locally that i had to ask

it depends what resolution your at, imo. 

1080p or 1440p bit too early for 4k imho

yeah its a good idea ... untill i saw that the 970 is cheaper then both 290x and 290
