Does it matter if the final format is JPEG or TIFF?

All images are Jpeg 100% so there is no visible difference between compressed and uncompressed.

Why is the edited F-22(DSCN2149) 3897x2923? All of the pictures you edited look great and I really appreciate your help. :)

I had to crop it because of the lens distortion correction

are they originally RAW files or JPEGs?

 

I would bump up the sharpness in photoshop

Some of them are out of focus. Sharpness won't fix that.

@Dredgy Another major problem is that there weren't any comets in the air when the picture was taken of the volcano and northern lights, but I am sure that can be corrected with a bit of change in contrast.
