I am so excited for Battlefield Hardline and I got the beta when it came out. I noticed performance was actually pretty bad for my overclocked 780 (1077/1130). On Ultra settings at 1080p I was experiencing around 65-80 fps in the Bank map and performance went to shit the second a gas grenade went off or a molotov was thrown. Is this just because Hardline's graphics are more superior to BF4's or is it just unoptimized in it's beta form?

It's a Beta, probably with an old build of the game. It's just not properly optimized.

I think BFH is running quite well.

With two Titans I get 70-80 on Ultra (AA off) with Nvidia surround.

What monitors are you running to need more than 60FPS?

Sometimes, I think BFH graphics aren't as good as BF4. Maybe just because it's a beta.

Battlefield's graphics havent changed since BF3, so i would assume it is unoptimized.

An ASUS VG248QE. It's one of those trashy 144hz "gaming" monitors.

Frostbite 3 is better then frostbite 2.

So BF4 has better graphis then 2.

And @APrettyCoolWalrus Wut, isint the 780 neck to neck and even a little better then the 290x? At max settings @ 1080p I get roughly Minimum of 80ish and average of 100ish. About 20fps better then bf4. Or it might just be Im using DX12

Lol ok It seems like Im to only one who likes red and black...

Yeah I'm back on windows 7.

Ouch. Seeing in chat comments, people were getting a LOT less fps on a 970 (Not cause of VRM its still under 3 gigs) then my 290x. Maybe they are only optimizing for AMD?

DX12? is it default on win 8.1? i know DX11 is

80-100+FPS Ultra on a 970. Windows 8.1. Game runs smooth no stutters or massive drops. BFH graphics are not as good as BF4 as BFH is reskined BF3. Everyone should have better performance on this game over BF4

BFH runs on Frostbite 2?

i have crappy performance ,less than on BF4 , GTX 770 GIGABYTE, i5 4690K 4.4ghz, Win 8.1 (avg: 62, max: 71,min: 30, a lot lower than in BF4)

drops down to 30 when the sandstorm comes in (BFH dust bowl CQ large,NOT GULF OF OMAN BF4)
