i was curious on your guys opinion of water cooling hdd is it worth it and are there any cons to it beside taking it apart

why the hell would you water cool a HDD?

because you can

To be perfectly honest with you, I've yet to see a hard drive get hot enough to warrant any type of cooling, just my 2 pence.

It's basically like water cooling RAM, do you need it no, but does it look good I guess. If you want a cover to hide the drive to make it look better or blend into the system there are aluminum block heatsinks to reduce noise and make it look less obvious in a system.

SSD is the way to go. Cool, very fast and quiet. :)

i have an ssd in my system but i also have a hard disk drive for mass storage because they have yet to come out with anything over 1 tb and when the do it will be overpriced
