ASRock - Non-Z OC lets you overclock with H87, B85 motherboards

apparently thanks to a bug in the intel chipset you can use h87 and b85 motherboards from ASRock to overclock by installing a BIOS currently in beta.

As stated in the video description, please note that "because Non-Z OC is related to Intel®'s chipset, CPU and firmware, ASRock does not guarantee the availability of Non-Z OC in the future".

 

I'm not sure how motherboards that weren't designed with overclocking in mind will end up doing.

from what I can tell the overclocking features are very limited.

 

you're forced to leave the voltage at auto,and you're forced to use 40,42,44,46,48 multipliers.

Hey, it's not that bad XD, rather than nothing, i would prefer this, at much lower prices.
