I would say get 2 7970s GHZ edition

On paper its a lot better then the gtx 690 which is the main rival but in the end the gtx 690 will win as it doesnt have the frame problems.

I disagree. The GTX 690 is such a flop. The 7990 is a beast of a card if you get past the high power consumption. And if you overclock it it will destroy. Also AMD has already announced a patch for the frame problem and RadeonPro gets rid of it anyways

If you can buy a 7990 - you'll be able to find 7970 GHZ editions.

In terms of performance, considering the 7990 is literally 2 7970  gpus, performance will be pretty comparable.

We are talking about now, not later, we also dont have an idea about how good the patch will be, linus said it would be years before AMD can match nvidia with frame rating. The GTX 690 wasnt a flop and we can all agree that it isnt as powerful however by no means does that make it a flop. I would rather buy a Gtx 780 these cards anyways.

I would say almost better. Just look on Newegg or Amazon. They should be everywhere. Right now I would say hold off a bit. 4th July is coming and deal are crazy when that happens

a important thing to me, is that the choose card "need" have 3GB or +3GB of effective Vram

well i like it too but u gusy says it bad choice and dual 7970 is better. well i dont know what to buy:D
